Do I just add a link to the photo in this thread?

It might also be a good idea to announce this in the actual forum as I couldn't find a new thread that announced it, so am unsure how I'm meant to know that there's a competition running.

There should also be a closed time as well as the date on the competition as there was before.

That is, a closing time and a time zone specified.

I have updated the date of the competition as this means it should now end correctly at Midnight on Sunday. We need to set the date of the Monday to ensure this - the forum software probably recognises 0:00 Monday as Midnight Sunday!

I set a pretty broad competition subject hoping for some novel interpretations of the theme, and I was not disappointed.
This is the first time I have had to judge anything and I would like to say that there is no 'best' picture, simply the picture I liked the most - I honestly liked them all.
1st PentaxAngel
2nd Malo1961
3rd Unlocker
Highly Commended - Galoot, justgetoutandride, spad and prieni

Thanks timbo for setting the theme and judging (and thanks for the commendation)! Congratulations PentaxAngel, I hope you knew what you were letting yourself in to
I also like the new competition format, good to flick through the images and read the comments under the pics.
Well done everyone!

Thanks Timbo, for indeed the much liked second place.
And of course big compliments for an excellent piece of judging. Biting the bullet as you did, with the new "format", wasn't something I was looking out for.
Congratulations to all the others, especially Pentaxangel. A well deserved winner
Martin.
