Hi all! I apologize for being tightened with the announcement of the contest theme. The fact that I was away and just did not have the physical capacity to do this before. By the way my pictures Man of fire - it has a picture my friend, a member of Special Forces. Six months ago, during the arrest the bandits, he received a bullet wound to the head and is in a coma. Andrew - this is your victory!
and now a more joyful - the works of the contest. I sat and waited for the flight in a balloon. And two minutes before takeoff and burst into rain canceled the flight. A second attempt, I was not there. and at this point, I decided what will be the theme of the competition
Let's start!
WR Lens Essential by tyronet2000 - I can not say that the work I liked. It is very dark and the rain is drawn. Although the plot and good composition.

Approaching Squall by davidstorm - Wow - picture! Storm from the Davidstorm! The picture struck me immediately. Excellent and the plot and the composition and technical execution! Bravo!

Let us spray by simonarron - You are a great master of shooting cars and motor sports! this is not the first shot in a style that I see. very impressive!

Thunderstorm and heavy rain over Heidelberg by AxelLuther - Hmm ... I usually admire your work. But this photo I do not like. Maybe it's just my personal tastes. I did not like very hard treatment. And twigs in the upper left corner seems to me superfluous. Although the landscape and caught the state of nature is impressive!

Droplets by bettyswolloks - A good story. And like the diagonal composition. But in these pictures are usually like more sharpness. Maybe you should cover the aperture.

Night Rain by johnriley - image to demonstrate the technical capabilities of K5. Of course, this remarkable camera allows you to dress it and even provoke. But still with a tripod for slow shutter speeds can be removed better.
PENTAX K-5, PENTAX K 20D, Pentax DA*200 2.8, Pentax A 50 1.7, Pentax 10-17 3.5-4.5 Fish Eye, Pentax A 100 4 Macro, Pentax FA 77 1.8 Limited, Sigma 18-50 2.8 DC EX, Helios 40 1.5, Tair-3s 300 4.5, Mir-10A 3.528, Mir-20N 3.5/20, tc Sigma 2x EX DG, Flash Sigma EF-530 DG ST

Night Rain by johnriley - image to demonstrate the technical capabilities of K5. Of course, this remarkable camera allows you to dress it and even provoke. But still with a tripod for slow shutter speeds can be removed better.

After the rain by alexfilipov - Just glancing at the picture I'm guessing the title! just a great shot but it does not really reveal the theme of Rain.

Tracking a Storm by Noelcmn - You managed to catch the wonderful state of the sky. But it failed to pass a technical point of view. I think the whole thing in the complexity of the plot. There is a large difference of brightness. Here in these cases shows a brilliant K5. I'm telling you as the owner of both cameras

Tyre spray! by stopher - I like Jens! Much more than Lewis Hamilton. Thanks for the photo - I also have pictures from Moscow to the races. not bad!

I'm not going out in that......by milamber - A good name! Photo with humor!

Rain and rainbow by geordie01 - Oh! If this picture was made more cleanly - it would be a candidate for the win!

Rain is fun !! by arrondee - an amazing shot! He makes to smile! and even to think about why, when we grow up - we lose the ability to enjoy simple things?

Laughing in the rain by davidtrout - and here is a picture that is pointed at my error! Here, adults and even elderly people are glad the rain .. like children! excellent!

After the rain at Arduaine by TimE - I think picture a little straightforward. there ought to find another composition and play with the angles.

Alpine Stormy Night by JAK - Impressive picture! take a picture of lightning - a great success!

Rainy Windows by LancashireLad - excellent picture of Rain! very lyrical ... She came very least cover some of the collection of poems. The only thing - I was very disappointed the lack of large size. I must say it is much reduced your chances.

Freak hail storm by WaypointCharlie - a very funny picture! especially like the facial expression of a girl who left! as if he feels the cold drops of rain ..

Rain day by chrisw1991 - You have chosen the plot, it is very difficult to implement ... both in terms of lighting and composition from the standpoint .. I would have tried to make the frame lighter. and remove or vertically - from the top. Or the opposite - lower the camera is even lower .. in general - try to have

Short rain by dhedwards - good shot. but I would cut off a little bit dark left-hand side.

rain in a barrel by mudlarkin - maybe worth a shot is not on the wall and along it. And just cut to the bottom of the picture. the barrel is too much!

Droplets by malcolm leader - and here, too - I would have sent the lens is exactly perpendicular to the glass. and removed a piece at the bottom right corner ..

And finally! 1st place - LancashireLad
2nd place - davidstorm ( consider that you, too, the first place )
3rd place - davidtrout

special prize - arrondee

HC -simonarron

Thank you all for your pictures!
