Hmmm curious. This is the DA 12-24mm lens @ f/11 on the K10 using a tripod, mirror lock up and a remote control although the exposures were long (some up to 20 secs) and I am unsure what the impact of the HDR software has on sharpness.
Here are two so-called 100% crops from the bottom left and top right: ![]() ![]() The top right one isn't wonderful but that may be more to do with extracting detail out of dark shadows? Looking at the image again in CS3 I realise no sharpening had been applied so here is the image with the "smart sharpen" filter used: ![]() I am curious as to what every one thinks. Having "only" a K10D I do not have the luxury of individual lens adjustments for focus. Thanks, Kris. Kris Lockyear Ask a question and be a fool for five minutes. Keep quiet, and be a fool forever. Well its a lot sharper now. Perhaps the long exposure has added some noise and the HDR software has multiplied and softened it. I have the same lens and have to be very careful how I use it but otherwise it is OK.
