Hi all,
Just a note to say that I'm getting to the end of the text for the dSLR Flash Guide Unfortunately, it's not looking as though my health and time restraints will let me fill this document with images The document will be provided as a PDF. It's currently 28 pages long (including 3 pages of cover & contents). Main topics are: * Flash Modes Explained (M, A, TTL, P-TTL, Wireless P-TTL) * Flash Compatibility with Pentax dSLRs * Situations: - Function or Party - Play or Concert - Portrait with a black background - Portrait with a white background - Daylight fill-in flash (P-TTL and A mode) * Problem situations * Light modifiers * Pentax AF360/540 flashguns (modes and tricks) * Metz 50MZ5 * Lastly some info on useful custom functions for K20D/K10D, *ist-DS, and *ist-D I was thinking of making this payable via PayPal (with a link from my www.mattmatic.co.uk website). Given that there are no images, I was thinking of £4.95 (although larger donations would be acceptable of course I'm open to suggestions of anything I've missed. Now some of the information is probably already known by you all, but there should be a few gems of information contained in the PDF Let me know Matt http://www.mattmatic.co.uk (For gallery, tips and links)

One thing I will add to the PDF is a small bug that seems to be in all Pentax dSLRs with flash. (I'll post it here as well in a minute!) http://www.mattmatic.co.uk (For gallery, tips and links)

I'm looking forward to this. I took some shots of the 3 Kings parade in Totana last night. All taken with flash and no consistency between many of them due to . . . the number of reflective jackets in the shot.
All done with P-TTL. I'll use manual next time . . . when Matt's taught me how Note to Matt: When you've sold a couple hundred thousand copies, come and live in the sunshine. Peter Smith A candle, the lowest form of light. Last Edited by Mannesty on 06/01/2009 - 17:14

I look forward to mine with bated breath. I've taken to using my flash on manual most of the time, especially when bouncing the flash.

I hope you get well soon Matt!
Going to make a paypal account specially for you I've readed the other comments and not everyone can make a paypal account because they have excluded some countries so there might be an unlucky few that might not be able to make one Stefan ![]() K10D DA* 50-135, D-FA 100 Macro, DA 40 Ltd, DA 18-55 AF-540FGZ

Thank you for prompt delivery, Matt!
The manual is well written and the layout is professional. Having just had time to scan quickly through, I look forward to reading in more detail. As you obviously are aware of, photo illustrations would enhance the manual. So I hope for a Second Edition when/if time/health permits. Oh, by the way, the K200D also supports Wireless Flash using the pop-up as a controller. The manual only mentions the K10/K20.
