After K10D's post of images from Doha I thought I'd post a few myself since I live there...and I haven't posted any images on here for ages. Doha is a very strange place, with quite a few disadvantages, but we have had a good social life there and I much prefer it to Dubai. There's virtually no chance of me finding employment in the UK in the present economic climate, and with China the only other realistic option, I'll stick with Qatar for a while. The firsst 3 and the last two are recent, the others not quite so recent.

Doha from the air

West Bay (panorama from 5 shots)

Museum of Islamic Art

Bling

Daily Wreck

Migrant Worker

These last two were taken on the IR converted K20D I have just sold to Puma.

Doha IR panorama (8 shots)

Al Zubarah Fort

A good set Jonathan. Oddly enough, I either went to Shanghai or Australia. Hoping to get to Korea or Vietnam next.

Best regards

Great set but not being a great landscape lover I have to go with Bling and migrant worker. Love the reflections in the car and the worker made me smile.
No equipment list here but thanks for taking an interest. My Flickr

Thanks chaps! I must get out more in Doha with my camera. There's quite a lot of interesting buildings, and more going up all the time. In a month or so it will be too hot to go out though...
