A Google for 'depth of field table' will provide a handy calculator.
DoF depends on the chosen aperture, focal length, the subject distance and how fussy you wish to be on what constitutes 'acceptably sharp'. The make of lens isn't a factor although some makers may be more 'fussy' than others

If you happen to have a Psion Revo or Series 5, there's a nice utility called "PhotoPal" that calculates all the depth of field values for you.
If you cannot find what you need, and if you Excel, or a compatible spreadsheet, I could rustle up a sheet to work it out for you. Matt http://www.mattmatic.co.uk (For gallery, tips and links)

Thank you for those pointers. I had a trawl round Google, and was able to put together some charts for various focal lengths - I keep them in my kit bag for reference.
