Chinese New Year Celebration

Today I went to Chinatown in London with a friend and his family. Last year was quite a fun celebration, although tiring. This year? Well, it looks like I'm going to be missing next year's. There's just too many people!
My recommendation: Go to Chinatown anytime during Chinese New Year except for the last day of the celebration, unless you REALLY want to see the performances and the dragon dancing (while constantly being squashed by the amount of people there). I didn't want to end the day on a sour note so decided to drop by the British Museum. Here are photos from today, most of them taken using the DA 35 2.4: Got off at Picadilly Circus ![]() Obligatory "Underground Exit" shot ![]() Some nice people by the "Dragon Rowing Boat" ![]() Okay, I am not sure why this guy was holding that piece of bread for so long. Thanks for posting these. Nothing really stands out on it's own (love the smiling child shot though) but as a series it's interesting and I enjoyed looking through them and reading the narrative.

your focusing seems a bit off in all of the images here, I would of expected to see more sharper images. Take the little girl smiling for instance the sleeve of her coat seems about the only thing in the whole shot to be slightly better focused. in all of them they are just to soft and slightly blurred for my liking. You need to either use a different aperture or faster shutter speed, or a combination of both. If that fails your lens is not focusing correctly.
