Thanks Dr Mhuni. Think I was getting a bit anal about cropping the spear!

No 3 for me too. Much nicer without the little bit of sky. It is a lovely photo.

I'm with Kris on this one. A favourite place for me to take pictures as well, because you can go to the motor museum afterwards but none as good as this. Excellent timing.

I feel quite ashamed as I live about 10 minutes from the Cathredral and work even closer and have not been for ages - well 20 years actually when I collected my masters there

Now dare I say I actually like the first one
The priest is smaller in the image and adds a real sense of scale to the shot. Oh and by the way, I love the colours of them statues Gareth Samsung GX10 - Samsung 18-55mm - Pentax 16-45mm F4 -Tamron 70-300 Di LD - Pentax D-BG2 Grip Pentax 50mm A f2 - Metz 48 AF1 - Cobra D650 - Cactus V2 triggers - Giotto GB4180 - Manfrotto 056 head - Extension tubes and some mobile strobist studio stuff ! Thanks all. I also thought the statues really looked nice against the pink sandstone. They are very expressive pieces! No one seems to have a good word to say about Coventry, but it's actually quite an interesting town. Looking forward to exploring the new cathedral which looks awesome - couldn't access it last week because of Evensong.
