I was woken up from my afternoon siesta the other day by the dogs barking at this Dragonfly on the bedroom ceiling, got the camera and half asleep fired off a few shots the best of which was this . I'm well mifted that I cut the tip of his tail off......next time...jeff....( the Dragonflys not the dogs)

Thanks judderman, yes they are lovely I've sat for ages next to a water cistern that I use for irrigation watching these beauties and failed to get a good picture they move so fast and erratically .
So I am sad that I clipped the tail off this one when it was sat still on my bedroom ceiling doh and double doh..........jeff.... shall I try a crop?
