I'm a confirmed petrol-head so, in celebration of a new series of Top Gear starting on Sunday, this fortnight's competition is CARS.

This should be a nice open topic although I do have an extra rule in addition to the usual fortnightly ones (one entry each, no changing once posted, picture(s) taken between now and the end of the competition, Pentax equipment used, full shooting data given); that is that the subject must be car or car related. They can be real cars, toy cars, car parts, whatever you like but NOT bikes, trains, planes, vans, lorries, busses, space shuttles, etc. Just cars. Everyone clear on that? Good.

Entries close at 6pm (GMT) on Wednesday 25th November. Good luck all!

Good one Hefty. Now I'm Photobucket literate I might be tempted to enter my first ever fortnightly competition. Must get into gear now.

"... I did what I always do. I tend to like my camera set to 1/125th of a second at f2.8, which is rather a slow shutter speed, and a shallow depth of field. I circled the chair running off about three rolls."

Right, none of my conventional efforts has really come off, and I'm not going to get anything by Wednesday, so I'm going to have to post one of my more, erm... experimental shots:

Even if its total fiasco, there is one more for you....
The only idea I carried was to find some good shape, but the daytime was limiting.
Walking home I saw this reflection. car's ? shaping
