Hello! Just signed up to this site to hopefully gather a bit more knowledge of photography in my local area. I currently own a K10 and have had it from new (late 2007) but to be honest it has been sat around just doing nothing

But for now my pentax 50mm and sigma 18-200 will have to do Does anybody know of any clubs in the Bolton area that are worth going to? Mainly for tips and the inspiration of other photographs.... I hope to become an active member on this forum and in time give advice to other 'beginners' once I have got more knowledge. Rob Last Edited by trebor127 on 28/02/2012 - 00:58

Some nice shots there Rob, refreshingly different ones of a very familiar place!
Why not come down to Atherton and see our club: www.adaps.org.uk and you will be sure of a warm welcome! Best regards, John

Thanks for the welcome
John - Do you visit the quays often? I work in Customs House (next to Furness House) but have rarely ventured much further than the Lowry! Stub - Sure will do when i'm free on a Thursday night Andrew - Thankyou for the comment. I'm actually quite plesantly suprised how well these images turned out from the 50mm lens. I did take a few more but I thought these 2 were my best 2 of the night. Rob
