So, I haven't been on here for awhile, so I feel I need to re-introduce myself. I have continued using and enjoying my k20d and K2000, but I finally decided to sell both and am getting the Pentax K-7 tomorrow, and I'm totally stoked! I can't wait to get involved again with discussions with you great people about this camera, and the PENTAX experience in general. Sorry about my absence...hope noone missed me too badly.

Interesting, your line of work,my daughter is a "cop" - Field Intelligence officer with the Metropolitan Police in a small undercover squad checking out the Olympic site for the next couple of years up to the 2012 Games. She is a great photographer and is off on a 2 week course starting next Monday to retrain on covert surveillance and camera work - should be a gas.
Sadly they seem to use C*non cameras but I will be expecting an update pretty soon. She has a Pentax ES11 and an MZ50 , but these days seems to prefer her ipod,Fuji S7000 ( from mom ) and a C*non A710 IS whatever that is ! Sorry about Boise,my bro-in-law is from Washington ( now in Toronto )and we have great banter about the USA and photography ( he studied with Ansell Adams for a while ).Take care out there and again - welcome back Tony K20D,*istD ( now a dedicated M42 digital ),K100D,MZ5N,P50,ME Super,Spotmatic 1000,Spotmatic,ESII,ES,H2.18-55 II,18-55,75-300 FAJ,35-80 FA,80-200 F,28-105 FA,Sigma 24-70 AF Aspherical,Sigma 28-300 Hyperzoom , Praotor II 500 M42,and a few Pentax M42 Taks,super-Taks,smc Taks.Benbo trekker,7dayshop monopod and a Lowepro rucksack. Being a cop is interesting work, to say the least. To be specific, am technically a field investigator (detective). But still to get to wear cool uniform! haha Pentax K7, Sigma 18-50 f2.8.
