Have just downloaded trial version of Lightroom.
On sale at about £130 has a MB of around 68 Photoshop Elements 4 was less than £60 and has an MB size of around 265. I read somewhere that Lightroom should be used as a plug in to Elements ? Something does not seem to add up to me ? Can anyone throw any 'light' on the subject. Thanks Peter

Only that there is no correlation between size of the programs and the costs.
Best regards, John

I don't have Elements, I just use lightroom. Please call me aj, I use a Pentax K10D, on a MacBook with LightRoom (vers 1.3 + beta 2) http://www.ba-joseph.co.uk/gallery

Lightroom is fantastic and I hardly ever open Photoshop any more. Unfortunately it doesn't do HDR or tone mapping (but then neither does my version of Photoshop), which is something I'd live to do.
