Lightroom

Have just downloaded trial version of Lightroom.

On sale at about £130 has a MB of around 68

Photoshop Elements 4 was less than £60 and has an MB size of around
265. I read somewhere that Lightroom should be used as a plug in to Elements ?
Something does not seem to add up to me ?

Can anyone throw any 'light' on the subject.

Only that there is no correlation between size of the programs and the costs.

I wouldn't bother using Lightroom as a plugin for another program, use one or the other.

I don't have Elements, I just use lightroom.

Lightroom is fantastic and I hardly ever open Photoshop any more. Unfortunately it doesn't do HDR or tone mapping (but then neither does my version of Photoshop), which is something I'd live to do.
