how many time did you turn off the SR?
I only turn it off when panning a shot, on a tripod I use 2 seconds delay or a remote so it gets turn off automaticly.

It's not exactly a 'pretty' camera is it?

The K20d is quite attractive, but this one is a bit, well...

Still, we can forgive it that if it improves on all the things we hope it will.

If it's a K20 upgrade(?) why change the name?

We've been expecting an all new camera, this seems a little bit of a let down.

Lets wait and see what the UK release says and how the (independent) press view it.
Cheers, HG

when i need to shot birds on the move, then sitting still, can be handy i think, the k200 is a pain, thats why i use my k20 and not the k200,

Nearly forgot smaller body.

Actually thats not a plus in my book but at least it can be made chunkier with the grip.

Ah yes okay, maybe it got a sensor that feels that you're panning the camera or that the camera is sitting still on a tripod... should be handy but if it works?

sorry mike i will take my words and eat them, it sounds ok when its put like that, but will it be that much of an improvment, the fps ould be nice, but i thought it would have more af points, and still no sr switch.
