Not much Pentax stock in most of the time, but a decent display of 2nd hand gear and they'll order anything you want. Prices not quite as good as SRS though. you don't have to be mad to post here but it does help

Hi all,
I just have to share my experience over here with:The Internet Store from Japan called: Found at:http://stores.ebay.com/Matsuiyastore After reading an earlyer post from a very satisfied forum member I thought: lets try it out, and I bought my self a brand new SIGMA APO 100-300mm f/4 EX DG for my K10d. Bought last Sunday night, delivered today, and as promised as extra service, NO Duty Tax or Vat !! to be paid afterwards. They offer that in helping you out. I asked for it, and it worked flawless. Item was perfectly packed, new in box with all the paperwork. first testshots make me drew already. So a very Big Thumbs Up for Matsuiyastore !! Martin. Best regards, Martin. Glad I could be of help!
Must admit though, the pricing between various countries is definately very confusing! Some of the prices on there are more than UK prices, some are well below UK prices, same with some of the US and Canadian sites I have been keeping an eye on. Does make you feel that in the modern world of the internet we should have a more level playing field across the world now, but anyways, I digress, that's a story for another thread! Another endorsement for SRS from me. I spoke to someone called Doug, who provided excellent service. Ordered a couple of cameras and lenses plus some other bits, and it all arrived the next day. This included a DA*16-50 lens that was out of stock when I phoned, and not expected in stock again for several weeks. Bit of a fluke that they received new stock just after I phoned, but very welcome.
Robert.

I've used a lot of retailers over the years, and SRS are the best I've ever come across. I'd seen their ad in the back of magazines etc, but only tried them once I'd joined this forum, which turned out to be expensive!!
I've never looked back! Their speed of service and product backup are also excellent and the prices are either unbeatable or competitive, so I rarely go anywhere else now.

In the UK, Bristol Cameras are very competitive for Pentax Cameras & Sigma lenses. They dont seem to advertize in mag's, but K20 prices look good....K20 + 16-45 - £689.

Can't fault the service of either of these. For the love of all things photogenic! Pentax K20D | Pentax SMC II DA ALII 18 - 55 | Sigma 400mm AF f5.6 | Fisheye wanted for play time! Centon K100 | Centon 50 / 1.7 | Centon 70 - 210 /4.0 - 5.6 (for my now retired film SLR).

I'd like to give a big recommendation to Asahi Photo, of Brentford.
On Friday, I sent them a lens for repair. At 11.45 AM Saturday, I got an email telling me that the repair was done! I paid by phone on Monday afternoon, and the lens was back in my hand on Tuesday morning! - Now that's what I call service! Very reasonably priced too. Certainly using them again. No man is worth his salt, who has not been banned from at least one Forum, and two Flickr groups. Mowog.

It doesn't technically come under "equipment" as such but I used www.fileprint.org/uk to order calendars and found it to be a great service and at great prices too, even for small orders.
