Thanks for the correction Pentaxophile, although I still think the 2CR5s are not ideal (I used the AA battery grip on the SFXn and managed about 15 rolls per battery in my Z-1 - but they were much more expensive then).

I agree about looking beyond the shop, but being able to check the gear out before you buy it is a big advantage.

I've got to be honest... I get through a lot less than 15 films a year since getting a DSLR! I can understand how the expense would be an issue if it was your primary camera though.

I've been giving you duff information Iain

The SF series don't let you use Av mode with DA lenses after all, but they do have Tv mode.

The list of compatibility is here: http://www.mosphotos.com/PentaxLensCompatibility.html

In short

PZ-1p, PZ-1, PZ-20, Z-50p, PZ-70, MZ-6, MZ-L, MZ-7: Full DA/M lens compatability.

[MZ-50, ZX-50: stop-down metering with manual lenses]

And basically any camera later than the ProgramA will give you use of DA lenses in P mode.

Thanks for that Pentaxophile, I will give that consideration.
Ultimately, I did'nt get another K-mount lens, as I am holding back, probably for an MZ-S if any appear at the right price......

However, I did get the Spotmatic F and the 35mm F3.5
Yes I probably paid more than fleabay, but on the other hand it was a real shop and they won't sell poor quality stuff anyway (the other stuff I have got from them, such as my Sigma 105mm Macro, Tamron 90mm Macro t mount etc etc) I have been really please with. I suppose it comes down to peice of mind really.
Still I don't care at the price, I now have an M42 mount camera to really use and enjoy. I have even put a roll of Kodak Ektar 100 ISO in it.

Edit, I have noticed the the MZ-S does not give Av on DA lenses. Still it is a nice camera. But I might look out for a Z-1
Digital - K-5, K20D, K10D, *istDS. Film - MZ-5n, MZ-50, Spotmatic F, SV.
Many lenses both K-mount and M42. Many Bags, Interfit strobes and constant. LR3 and CS6.

The F isn't a model I own, but I approve of your choice of film...

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
