Anyone agree that it would be a distinct advantage if a spellchecker could be added to the forums , so that users, could spellcheck their post/topic whilst previewing before posting?

Kind regards,

Peter.

I'm not sure it would be possible to do so.
Firefox has one, you can get one for IE via the Google toolbar I believe. No doubt other browser also have them available.

The Firefox one works very well despite not having "Firefox" in the dictionary!

Cheers, Kris.

Hi Tel, I couldn't agree more, only thing is you have to feed and water the dear wife, not so with the electronic version... or do you? best regards, Ron

Only the first time, then you have added it to the dictionary...

And can I ask how long you tried it for? Or when did you try it? It kicks the backside of IE in every department IMHO!

But IE7 is so prone to hacking - it has had and probably still has massive holes in it's security.
I used to use Opera, which I liked a lot, but switched to Firefox with the new computer, as most websites work with it, whereas several didn't work with Opera. I never touch IE 7 now. Firefox is just so much more user friendly than any version of IE I've used.

Anyway, you can still get a spell checker for IE7 from the Google toolbar.
