Anyone agree that it would be a distinct advantage if a spellchecker could be added to the forums , so that users, could spellcheck their post/topic whilst previewing before posting?

I'm not sure it would be possible to do so.
Firefox has one, you can get one for IE via the Google toolbar I believe. No doubt other browser also have them available.

The Firefox one works very well despite not having "Firefox" in the dictionary!

But IE7 is so prone to hacking - it has had and probably still has massive holes in it's security.
I used to use Opera, which I liked a lot, but switched to Firefox with the new computer, as most websites work with it, whereas several didn't work with Opera. I never touch IE 7 now. Firefox is just so much more user friendly than any version of IE I've used. Anyway, you can still get a spell checker for IE7 from the Google toolbar. |
