Campanile, a monument to 1820 British Settlers that came to South Africa, the Cape in particular. As children, we loved climbing the 204 (I think) steps to the top of this building and enjoy the view from up there, of the Harbour with the different ships coming and going, and also the views to the North, East and West. You were pretty exhausted by the time you got to the top and needed some rest before you could enjoy the views. A race was always on the cards between us sublings or friends.
