The only picture I've been happy with on my new Sigma 8-16mm. Shot at 8mm and f/11; cropped to maybe 9-10mm.

But it's not just about the mushrooms, is it? the whole image is superb. i like it.
(Is the sun for real, or did you add it?)

The only things I did were a slight crop and some levels adjustment. And lay in the dirt to get closer to the mushrooms
The sun was already there, the 7 aperture blades just made a fancy starburst.
Interestingly, I have returned the lens as it was faulty - strong fringing. Whether that fault extended to the flare or not, I couldn't say. It does, however, mean I'll always take an odd number of aperture blades over an even number!
