After leaving school too young, with too few qualifications and working too many jobs I hated for too many years I decided to try and study for a degree in English Literature...
I found it a reasonably simple task and in 2012 after 4 years of study (I had to do a foundation year due to not having much in the way of scholastic qualifications before starting my degree)graduated with a 2:1 with honours...
My first student loan went on a Pentax K-x (twin lens kit) and as I worked part time throughout my studies nearly every student loan I received went on (rent 1st then...) camera equipment...
Although for the most part just a hobby, photography is now a major part of my life and I very rarely leave the house without my K5 (the K-x went to a good home) and a couple of lenses...
I have good photography days and I have bad photography days but for the most part I'm improving...
I'm now moving into a career in theatre, currently working as an assistant producer, assistant director and stage manager on one production due to run 15 nights in London and directing another play to be shown for one night in Leeds...
Other than that... I'm Northern, a total insomniac and am planning a wedding that at this time feels massively unaffordable...
